Performedia strives to adhere to the Web Accessibility Guidelines. This portal and the media player are compliant with WCAG version 2.1, level AA. The company's mission is to provide a platform that is accessible and usable for everyone. We design, develop, and test for people with various abilities to confidently interact with our content and functionality using automated testing software, assistive technologies, and manual testing methods. Both automated testing and manual testing protocols are part of the development and maintenance lifecycle. A variety of assistive technology, tools, and techniques are used during the testing (e.g., screen readers, magnifiers, voice recognition, color contrast analyzers, and keyboard-only navigation).

The ASLNOW widget on the site, which also includes TextChat functionality is a third-party plugin. The widget is not designed and tested for WCAG 2.1 compliance.  The ASLNOW plugin (explain what it does here) It is not seamlessly useable by screen-reader software and keyboards. The plugin is not operated or maintained by Performedia. If you encounter issues because of the plugin on this site, please get in touch with our team.
